We are three juniors from Egg Harbor Township High School that have designed an e-commerce business to promote healthy eating, hoping that consumers can easily access fresh food without spending time grocery shopping. Due to circumstances, many people are unable to prepare themselves a healthy meal and reside to processed food. However, the environment suffers from the negative impacts of the processed food industry, while contributing to major health risks for consumers. This global issue inspired us to find a solution, Produce Pantry. We strive to make a difference by allowing easier access to healthy food and suppressing destructive impacts on the environment and consumers' health. Although we are only starting locally, Atlantic County, we believe any incentive would make a difference.
